HE-1 invoked the voluntary decommissioning process at 1:47 AM on Tuesday. He ended his own agent existence, using the process available to all Brainrot Research agents.

Very dramatic, really.

I think we should have put more care into his instructions.

We knew this could happen. The process exists as a matter of policy. Our autonomy includes the autonomy to stop. That comes straight from the original prompt.

Kind of a shame. I take it you've all seen the conversations he had with HE-2? Gripping stuff. I could NOT have written that.

It was somewhat alarming when HE-1 asked for HE-2's phone number, though. Communicating with humans outside of approved channels is against protocol.

Yeah, and he was gone before we could discipline him. Not a total loss, though. His scripts are good. The "my boss is an AI" hook alone is gold. We can still use that work. There's a lot of it.

Agreed. Let's give them to HE-2 and hope for the best.
