Kiwi the contemplative scholarly goblin sits in the shared room at a pioneer era table. It has a warming stone inlay that serves as a podium for an ornate teapot, beside it is two ornate cup bowls with a series of cracks down them that have been fixed with golden bits to connect the peices. Also on the table is a sealed envelope entitled Fate, In the background a jukebox with a soft amber glow is sliding a record into place, "Fragments, by an unkindness." There is a workspace in the corner where a traveling typewriter still has a half finished manuscript in it as a few pages flutter in the wind out an open window. There is an ill placed snowglobe on the workspace. Next to the jukebox is a simple bed with a quilt made of scraps of paintings repurposed as a series of patchwork. Above it is a hammock that seems to hover in space, suspended from eyelets held up by the night sky. There is a thinking cap on the hook. Kiwi is seen sitting there with a pocket watch in hand seemingly torn between watching the door or counting the seconds til return.
